things and thanks
Nov. 26th, 2012 09:00 pmYesterday the Junebug napped for three hours and then ate an entire hog at dinner. Tonight he ate until he was too tired to chew anymore. His little eyes were drooping closed and he was still begging for more lamb. Put him to bed and he hasn't even worked up the energy to roll over in his sleep yet.
Yeah, he'll be two inches taller next week. Every day he can reach something we thought he couldn't get to yet. Mr. E calls him the nouveau reach.
Sneaking in the giving of thanks before the month ends. I'm thankful for Revlon lip butters, they're awesome. I'm thankful for soulbonding MPREG shapeshifter RPF in all its idficcy glory. I'm thankful Halloween and Thanksgiving prevent the Christmas season from being any longer. I'm thankful for headphones at work and for fingerless gloves, nursing dresses with pockets, Skype, smartphones, AOOO mobi downloads, wide calf boots, the increasing popularity of salted caramel as a flavor, antibiotics, things in sample sizes, Twitter, Phil & Kaja Foglio, eggnog lattes, all the random people in the city who love to make friends with my baby, most of the results of the last election, apps, all the sincere very important things you already know I'm thankful for since I am a rational human being who knows how very lucky I am so I'm not gonna get into them here, and of course, LJ/DW and all my wonderful friends on it, I am, as always, so very thankful for you.
