YES! You realize Nux gets a happy ending too? Life was never in the cards for him. He was dying at the beginning of the movie. All he wanted, all he asked for, was to die historic and to be witnessed. And he got it. I love that moment where Capable visibly thinks about kissing him and then does not. Of course not. No woman in that movie was in any kind of place where they could touch a man in a romantic or lover-like way. But she could witness his sacrifice, and she did.
